Blackbird Studio's Tour

First off, I need to start by saying that Blackbird Studio's uses a different business model than most recording studios today. Most studios are trying to cut costs because the big studios just won't survive. Actually, that sounds totally logical to me. However, there is another path that isn't for the meek or faint of heart. John McBride (Martina McBride's husband) is owner of Blackbird Studios. His theory is that there will always be room for a super studio. The U2's and Elton John's of the world will always be booking world class studios, because they don't have to cut corners. So Blackbird is meant to be more expensive and more over the top than any other studio in Nashville In other words, Blackbird is built to be the best...not the cheapest or the most cost efficient.

This guy gave us the tour. Not only is he amazing looking, but he is pretty damn sharp. He's the studio manager at Blackbird. John McBride had him doing everything from fixing laptops, to solving mega hardcore networking issues, to tracking sessions. This guys really on it. Good luck taking his job. I know of no person capable of being this good and this knowledgeable about so many crafts. He will impress you!
