This has to be the most elaborate monitoring system known to man. You only see a few of the Mackie 1604 mixers built into stands, but there were like 20 or more in the facility. The monitoring for the entire building is all ran to each of these somehow so that you can track a vocal or violin in one room while you use a control room for another room. Either way, this is the most hardcore monitoring I've ever heard of. Amazing! If I remember right, they even have a cup holder and music stand built into them.


In case you thought this was torture room in some 1000 year old castle, you are mistaken. This is a live room. People record music in here, believe it or not. I'm pretty sure it's a better room than mine. This is the room that the ceiling slides so the sun can come in. You can also adjust the electric lighting from normal to yellow to green or whatever in case a song is just calling for more green in the snare.
