Is A Control Surface Right For Me?
By Brandon Drury | Published  07/4/2006

I guess I'm only looking for the benefits (not the features) of using a control surface.

It was mentioned on the forum that a DAW control surface can automation MUCH quicker to the point where I may consider doing automation on the bass with every single hit from the kick drum. That would take hours with drawing, but would take 5-10 minutes with a fader.

What other benefits are there to using a control surface?
