Forum Problems
As you have probably figured out, the Recording Review forum is having big problems. I’ve been working on this for 3 days and my support has been so/so at best. Unfortunately, I’m stuck in a sit and wait mode, which I really hate.
It turns out that my host just decided to up and move my site to a different server. When my forum was completely thrashed, they have not exactly jumped at the chance to help me. Hopefully I can get this worked out soon.
This is killing me. I’ve put way too many hours into the forum to see it go down like this. I feel like I may go postal on someone soon!
I’ll keep everyone posted when the site gets back up.

Hey Brandon I feel your pain.
I just lost heeps of stuff cause my host had a drive failure and “somehow”, the RAID had not worked so, there was no fallback. Yeah…they restored, from a two week old backup, but I lost all my emails, etc, for that period.
Stiff upper lip…old chap!

Yea man, I was starting to get pissed, thought it was my PC that wouldn’t let me on the site. I got a question thats burning me up, maybe you can answer, Batter Side Kick Drum Head- I currently have a Evans EQ3- excellent kick head, I’m thinking about going with an Evans Adjustable Dampening EMAD Bass Drum Head http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Evans-Adjustable-Dampening-EMAD-Bass-Drum-Head?sku=441393
reviews are good on it about getting a boomy kick. Alright hope you get the site fixed soon!

RAID failed???? AHHH!!!!! I’ve never really tried it for that very reason. RAID seems easy. A little too easy!
Well, all is well now. I’ll save my mass murdering for another time.
Dude, I’m pretty clueless about the drum head thing. I’m not a drummer so I’m usually just trying to enhance or what the drummer has given me to work with. You may want to try posting on the drum forum now that we are back in business.
