I have just purchased, (3 weeks ago), a Presonus StudioLive 16.4.2. I have a Windows 7 (64) machine, VIA 1394 drivers and nothing out of the ordinary installed on my box. I disabled AV and anything else that might interfere.
I've contacted tech support at presonus multiple times and still here I sit with a bricked StudioLive.
The firmware update crashed and now my SL says "Startup" and Please Wait... in the SL screen and the firmware update hangs permanently at the "Opening definition file..." in the install progress bar.
Since Presonus won't help me, can anyone here?
