			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Berlin, May 28th, 2009 – Native Instruments today released DEEP RECONSTRUCTIONS, a collection of cutting-edge multi-effects based on the powerful sound processing features of the KORE platform. The new KORE SOUNDPACK provides a wealth of advanced effect configurations that can be used to tweak and transform any audio material in innovative and inspiring ways, for direct use in KORE 2 and in the free KORE PLAYER.</p>
<p>Complementing the acclaimed DEEP TRANSFORMATIONS library, the second multi-FX collection in the KORE SOUNDPACK arsenal provides sophisticated time-based effects configurations that can drastically alter and rearrange beats, melody lines, vocals and any other audio material. DEEP RECONSTRUCTIONS offers 150 complex effect patches with 1,200 Sound Variations, which draw on both the high-quality KORE effect algorithms and on the integrated engines of REAKTOR, ABSYNTH and GUITAR RIG for their signal processing power. Through intricate combinations of delay, reverb, modulation, pitch shifting, resampling, filtering and dynamics processing, signals can be sliced, frozen and sequenced with spectacular and unconventional results.</p>
<p>Despite the complexity of the underlying effect configurations, the operation of DEEP RECONSTRUCTIONS remains entirely straightforward thanks to the KORE user interface. The unified parameter mapping within KORE 2 and KORE PLAYER gives immediate, intuitive control over the sonic characteristics of the effects, making them ideal for live performance and for creative sound manipulation in the studio.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I just added a new section to the recording forum called <a href="http://forum.recordingreview.com/f43/">User Submitted Clips</a>.   I'm looking for members of RecordingReview.com to post mp3s to illustrate points they've learned, compare gear (such as mics, preamps, and other gear), and illustrate various techniques.  </p>
<p>While I've done several “shootouts” in the <a href="http://forum.recordingreview.com/f18/">Member's Only</a> section of RecordingReview.com, I thought it was a bit short sighted for me to be the only one contributing.  So now I encourage all members to post their clips.</p>
<p>Richiebee's Killer MIDI Illustration<br />
One of the first user submitted clips was by long-time member, Richiebee.  He posted a MIND BLOWING illustration of just what a modern MIDI production can sound like.  <a href="http://forum.recordingreview.com/f43/what-midi-4939/">Richiebee's Killer MIDI Illustration</a>   He started out with MIDI that started out sounding like Pacman or Super Mario Brothers and turned it into a piece of music that would be more at home in a big budget Hollywood film.</p>
<p>This is the best A/B example of the stereotypical MIDI recording from a few years ago vs a full blown modern MIDI production.  </p>
<p>Some can debate the merits of using MIDI synths and samples in their recordings, because it is “fake” or whatever.  I think it comes down to the user to create real music with the tools they have at their disposal.  I consider MIDI synths and samples to be an incredible tool for making real music.  I think Richiebee's clip illustrates the capabilities of modern synths and samples better than any I have hear.</p>
